Presentation of the artists

Peter Heiniger

Pesche Heiniger is a slam poet, lyricist, columnist, songwriter and spoken word performer. His repertoire ranges from linguistically witty short stories to rhythmically driving cascades of word-sound. From Dada to Gaga, from Aha! to Oha! Sometimes surprisingly profound, sometimes refreshingly banal.
Together with Remo Zumstein, he became Swiss Poetry Slam Champion in the team category in 2022. In 2024, he won the cabaret festival "die Krönung" in Burgdorf and the Olten cabaret casting.
Pesche Heiniger lives and writes in Oberfrittenbach.

Marco Gurtner

Marco Gurtner is a spoken word artist, podcaster, presenter and musician. He has been performing regularly at poetry slams in German-speaking countries since 2012 and was Swiss champion in the individual category in 2019. He also won the u20 Swiss champion title in 2013. Marco Gurtner performs as a solo artist and as part of the group "Thun ist Nirgends" in a wide variety of stage formats. He also presents his two weekly podcasts, "Übertribe mit Stiu" (since 2017) and "Herrgöttli Panaschiert" (since 2020), as live shows on the stages of German-speaking Switzerland. Since 2021, the TV programme "Schweiz Vereint" has appeared on the regional channels of CHMedia, in which he and Nico Franzoni throw themselves into Swiss club life.

Jovana Nikic

The Blick newspaper calls her the shooting star of the Swiss cabaret scene. Jovana Nikic, born in Belp in 1999, grew up between "Bünzlitum and Bern Bümpliz". She began her poetry slam career in 2020, performed on stage for the first time for SRF at the Arosa Mundart Festival and the Kleintheater Luzern and presented her first cabaret solo programme "Bärner Meitschi" in 2023. In addition to her studies in Lucerne (BA PPE), she moderates the Slam Olymp at La Cappella in Bern, at Ono Bern at the Altstadt Slam and is now in the process of setting up a migrant reading stage in Bern and is the youngest member of the SRF 1 satire radio column "Zytlupe". Those who prefer to read columns can enjoy Jovana's texts in the online magazine "Journal B".

Daniel Blatter

Daniel Blatter is a musician and poet. He sings to the guitar or sits down at the piano with his lyrics. In his writing, he condenses what drives him, capturing the essence of complex and unpleasant topics that are too rich to contain. His unconventional humour makes it possible to laugh at the inappropriate and break down fears of contact.

Joël Perrin

Since 2015, Joël Perrin has lived between medical dissecting rooms and slam stages, becoming Swiss U20 champion, fighting his way to the final of the German-speaking championships and turning down the chance to take part in the European championships. His lyrics have set up camp on the lyrical border between genius and madness, are razor-sharp and show more tact than a BBraun Space P Infusomat®. Joël Perrin breaks down worldviews into words - and distils them into linguistic catharsis. There is life before death.
