Brother Klaus Chapel in Geimen

At the beginning of 1969, the inhabitants of the hamlets of Geimen, Mehlbaum, Moos, Bitschji and Hegdorn approached the church council through their spokesman Louis Büchel with a request to build a new chapel. They reiterated this request with 80 signatures. The reason given was that the old chapel had become far too small and most of the worshippers had to attend Holy Mass in front of the chapel.

On 25 June 1972, the chapel was blessed by the local priest Josef Pfaffen in honour of St. Nicholas of the Flüe, together with the bell of Our Lady.

The Brother Claus Chapel enjoys great popularity: many bridal couples also have their wedding there.
