The evening is aimed at all those who are interested in fantasy / the Middle Ages and especially in Tolkien. The prelude is in noble garb and it is very much desired to appear in the wackiest costumes of the Lord of the Rings films. In addition to speeches, there will be a live band entertaining us with bagpipes and drums. There will even be a reading from The Silmarillion accompanied by themed music. In addition to the performances, we will enjoy a delicious meal at the Jungfrau Aletsch restaurant in Naters. It all starts with an aperitif in the Klosi with mulled wine and mead. As soon as the sun sets behind the mountain in the west, we will set off with the Dudelpack in our armour and luggage with a torchlight procession on a thirty-minute march over the mountain to our inn, where a sumptuously decorated hall awaits us all. The evening is rounded off with a film from the "Lord of the Rings" triology or the Hobbit triology or even the first episodes of the new release of "The Rings of Power" Season 2 from AMAZON PRIME TV TM. It could also be that the new cinema film "The War of Rohirrim" will be voted for. Everyone who registers for the last supper will have to vote on which film will be shown that evening. The event takes place in all weathers. In case of ice / snowstorm / sleet / frost or force majeure, the route of the torchlight procession will be routed through the old village of Naters. The mountain route requires good footwear from everyone, whatever the weather that evening. All registrations are binding. If a registered person is absent on the evening, the participant is liable.
