Paul Ruppen and Josef Loretan played songs in Valais German - often blues - as a guitar duo in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In the second half of the 2010s, Paul Ruppen took the songs that he thought could still be sung today out of their mothballs and spiced them up a little on the guitar. He also added a number of newly written songs. The lyrics range between Dada and the simplest everyday experiences, the music - sometimes a little rocky - between blues pentatonicism and bossa nova.
Jonas Imhof plays drums in various formations and styles. The project iExquisiciòn! is worth mentioning. He also explores free improvisation and sound experiments and is involved in interdisciplinary projects. Paul Ruppen wrote the songs (music and lyrics, two of the songs around 1980 with Josef Loretan. One text was penned by Anton Pianzola). Thomas Venetz has been active as a bassist in a variety of projects, including Personal.
