The Swiss former chef, who lives in Canada, is coming to Switzerland especially for the presentation of his brand new and unique book "Bärenhunger", which will be published by AT Verlag at the end of October. Unique because the richly illustrated work contains two things: Bear stories and recipes, all illustrated, consisting almost exclusively of bear food. The adventurer, who grew up in Kloten, is using the publication of the book as an opportunity to give a number of multimedia presentations in his old homeland: stories about his life among bears. These are live commentated reports, touching stories about his countless encounters with grizzlies. The new multimedia show draws in particular on "Bärenhunger", Sommerhalder's experience of surviving largely on bear food.
