Sunnaspycher

Garage / Parking

Near the holiday home is the road called „Hälftschuggo“. There is a garage reserved only for guests of the „Sunnaspycher“. On the garage door is a sign „Reserviert Sunnaspycher“ written on it. You can park your car there or use the parking „Matterhorn“ which is also near the house.

Visitor’s Tax

You can either pay the visitor’s tax directly at the tourism office in Blatten or you can leave it in the Sunnaspycher before your departure. For adults it’s 2.50 swiss francs per person/night, for children (6-16 years) it’s 1.25 swiss francs per person/night.

Smoking prohibition

The whole holiday home is a strict no-smoking-area. It is forbidden to smoke in the wooden house.

Heating

For the heating, please consider the instruction manual for the fireplace. The wood is stored in the basement.

Sun-protection

On the south side of the building is a net curtain (awning). Please consider the instruction manual for the remote control. On the west side of the building are shutters installed. The rooms can be cooled in summer during night, just leave the windows open. The air-handling system is no air-conditioner! Sun-umbrellas for the terrace are in the room with the red door.

Hausschuhe

To keep the wooden floor nice, please wear slippers in the whole appartment. It is forbidden to wear trekking shoes or ski boots indoor.

Bedding

The beds are ready to use when you arrive. Before the departure, please remove the bedsheets and put it on the beds. For children, please use an underlay under the sheets to protect the mattress. Bed sheets are 10 swiss francs per person. You can also bring your own sheets – in this case, please contact Mrs. Salzmann, before you arrive.

Equipment

Please take care of the furniture an the other equipment in the appartment. Please contact us, if something is damaged or broken. If something is broken, the hirer has to pay a compensation. If something is missing after the stay, the hirer has to pay it. Please don't hammer any nails into the walls. If something is missing in the appartment or if you need help, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Kitchen

Please keep the dishes clean, especially before your departure. Please put all the dishes in the cupboards like it was at your arrival. Please clean all the kitchen equipment which were used. To clean the cooking stove, don’t use any aggressive cleaning supplies or scratchy items. If you use the fry pan, don’t use the cooking stove over level 7. You can use the Nespresso coffee machine, but you have to bring your own capsules.

Bathroom

Please don’t throw any sanitary products or food into the toilet.

Waste

You are responsible for the waste disposal. The waste has to be kept in the offical trash bags. The removal of the waste for trash, alu, glass and paper is near the village center of Birgisch, behind the shopping center „Coop“. Please consider the information sheet of the Shop „Coop“.

In general

Please don’t use the closets which have a sign „Privat“ on it.

Final cleaning

Please leave the „Sunnaspycher“ in a clean condition before your departure. Don’t forget to empty the fridge before you leave. Don’t leave any food in the kitchen.

Please leave the money for the cleaning (80 swiss francs per stay), the sheets (100 swiss francs per person) and the visitor’s tax in the envelope on the table in the living room.

Check-in Information

The arrival day is normally on Saturday, but other days are also possible. Arrival time around 16.00 p.m. During mid-season, arrival and departure are possible every day, just contact us.

Departure

Saturday (or other departure day), 10.00 a.m. Please inform when you leave!
