The World Nature Forum is the home port of the UNESCO World Heritage Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch. Visitors get to know and understand unique natural and cultural landscapes around the high alpine scenery in an interactive exhibition. With exciting films, experience stations, info-graphics and artefacts, this spectacular exhibition awakens visitors' spirit of research.
The Alps are in danger!
As an economic area, the Alps are losing importance, agriculture in the mountains is dying out and climate change is bringing about incalculable changes. The question arises how the meadows will be irrigated in the future when the glaciers have disappeared? How will tourism change if the snow stays away in winter? The exhibition at the Aletsch Campus in Naters deals with such questions.
Highlight of the exhibition
The large panorama room, where never-before-seen film scenes from the UNESCO World Heritage Site are shown on a 100 square metre screen, delights numerous visitors every day.
Much more than just an exhibition
The World Nature Forum is a visitor, study and congress centre that is unique in the world. Ideal for your next team event!
