The St. Theoduls Chapel was first mentioned in 1480 and Blatten became the ecclesiastical centre of the Natischerberg. In the middle of the 17th century, the chapel, which was formerly aligned north-south, was turned to the east (like all Catholic churches and chapels, actually) as well as enlarged.
The chapel of St. Theodul Blatten is the property of the parish of St. Mauritius Naters and can be rented for religious occasions.
