An unobstructed view of 14 four-thousand-metre peaks, snow-covered summits and white clouds - the breathtaking panoramic view from the Aletschbord on the Belalp is otherwise only known from an aeroplane seat. It is therefore fitting that such a seat has been available on the Aletschbord since summer 2017.
The Aletsch Glacier is the largest and longest of its kind in the Alps. A view of it is therefore something very special: as beautiful and rare as that of the Edelweiss, the queen of Alpine flowers. After the leading Swiss holiday airline named one of its aircraft after our beautiful Belalp in June 2017, Edelweiss can now also be found in our region in return: since 10 August 2017, you can take a seat on the Aletschbord on an "Edelweiss bench" in the shape of an aircraft seat and enjoy the view as if you were sitting in a plane."
