Mund – Wyssa – Mund
From the bust stop, or the parking lot in Mund (1188 m a.s.l.), you walk upwards through the beautiful village Mund and take a shortcut through field paths from the loop of the paved access road. The hike along the Wyssa Suone (water course) begins at the large tunnel (1480 m a.s.l.). The Suone leads into the jagged cliffs above the Üssere Senntum, and disappears several times in dark tunnels (watch your heads!). Finally, it flows onto the rocky fields of the Gredetsch Valley (1543 m a.s.l.). You follow it to the water source at the Mundbach, the turning point of the tour. Now, you continue towards the valley to a solid bridge, where the tail branches. The path follows the Stigwasser Suone, runs with a slight descent along the partially wooded slope underneath the Wyssa Suone, and soon flows onto the fields of Mund. From there you continue to your starting point.
Important: The trail follows water courses, which partially lead along steep cliffs. You must be very careful. A head for heights is essential. You will also walk through several tight tunnels, so a torch will be useful.
