About me
My name is Maurus Gsponer
- I live in Brig. Since 1 September 2016, I have been in a so-called restless state. So now I have time to devote myself more to my hobbies. Being out and about in nature with all its facets, even for several days, is always an experience and relaxation for me.
- In 2009, I completed my training as a certified hiking guide at the hiking guide school in Val d'Anniviers. I am now looking forward to you accompanying me on hiking trails at home and abroad. I'm sure I can tell you one or two exciting stories about nature, culture and customs in the region concerned. The organisation is my business. You hike carefree, I guide you safely to your destination.
- In2019 I was able to successfully complete the training to become a park guide for the Binntal Landscape Park. I now increasingly visit the Binntal, known as a mineral dorado and nature park, with hiking guests.
- Depending on the time of year, I am out and about on lonely paths on shoestring or through snow-covered landscapes on snowshoes. On request, I will be happy to put together a programme adapted to your needs. You can find a representative offer of different tours on my website.

Snowshoe tours:
For the organisation and implementation of snowshoe hikes of all kinds, whether for a moonlight tour, or a day hike through a deeply snow-covered winter landscape, please contact me.
Evening Tour:
In the evening, after work or on any day of the week, we trudge on snowshoes through the snow-covered forest in order to relax in a cosy pub, e.g. in the Berghaus Chäserstatt or the Berghaus Chäserstatt. Day hikes:

On quiet paths away from the crowds, we travel through fairytale forests, primeval mountain worlds and along dreamy rivers.
